Lost
As I have mentioned before it is often cloudy in Chengdu, in fact cloud seems to be the norm. The level of clouds varies from very thick dark clouds to very light clouds (almost a blue sky). However most of the time it is somewhere in between. The other night we actually had a clear sky, very unusual. When I looked up and suddenly saw all the stars I thought: "It will have to go!" (If you don't get it, read the third of the five books of the "Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy" trilogy.) OK, that is enough background for now.
The other day I was walking outside with Simeon when he suddenly starts pointing at the sky and shouting: "I found it. I found it." When I looked up I didn't really see anything, but Simeon was very insistent. Then when I looked again I realised that you could just see the outline of the sun through the clouds (in fact Simeon thought it was the moon) and Simeon had found it. So there you are the sun has been found, and I did not even know it had been lost.

Geweldig verhaal. Ik kan Simeon zijn vastberadenheid en enthousiasme erdoor horen gewoon.
